1. Overview
RiseWise is a parent-managed mobile learning app for children. The app teaches Bhagavad Gita lessons through short, gamified activities. A parent or legal guardian must create the account and provide consent before a child profile can be created or used.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and what choices parents have.
2. Who May Use RiseWise
RiseWise is intended for children ages 6–14 under a parent-managed account. Children under 13 may use RiseWise only after verified parental consent has been provided.
3. Information We Collect
Parent account information
We may collect parent email address, password authentication data managed by our authentication provider, parent profile information if provided, consent status, consent date, verification status, policy version, consent audit records, and IP address where needed for consent evidence and security.
Child profile information
After verified parental consent, we may collect child display name, avatar selection or avatar URL, preferred content language, lesson progress, lesson attempts and answer summaries, XP, streaks, badges, leaderboard rank, daily progress, and play count.
Technical information
We may collect limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the app, such as authentication state, timestamps, and server logs.
4. What We Do Not Do
RiseWise does not sell personal information, use child information for targeted advertising, show third-party advertising to children, allow direct messaging between children, allow children to create accounts without a parent, or require more child information than reasonably needed to use the learning features.
5. How We Use Information
We use information to create and manage parent accounts, verify parental consent, create and manage child profiles, provide lessons, questions, XP, streaks, badges, and leaderboard features, display child progress to the parent, keep the app secure, respond to parent requests, process consent revocation and child data deletion requests, and maintain audit logs required for compliance and security.
6. Leaderboard Visibility
RiseWise includes a leaderboard. Child display name, avatar, XP, and rank may be visible to authenticated app users. Parents should choose a child display name that does not reveal more personal information than they are comfortable sharing.
7. Sharing of Information
We may share information only as needed to operate the app, including with service providers that support authentication, database hosting, app infrastructure, security, and support; when required by law; or with the parent or legal guardian managing the account.
8. Third-Party Services
RiseWise relies on trusted third-party providers to deliver core functionality. These providers process data only as necessary to perform their services on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it.

We share only the minimum data required with these providers and do not authorize them to use your information for their own marketing or unrelated activities.
9. Data Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce our terms. Child data can be deleted at a parent’s request. Some consent audit records may be retained without child personal information for compliance, security, and recordkeeping.
10. Parent Rights
Parents may review the personal information collected from or about their child, request correction, revoke parental consent, request deletion of a child profile and related child data, and prevent further collection or use of child information. To make a request, contact [risewiseapp@gmail.com].
11. Consent Revocation and Child Data Deletion
If a parent revokes consent, game activity is blocked. A parent may also request deletion of individual child data. When deletion is processed, child profile information and related lesson progress, XP, streaks, badges, and leaderboard records are deleted according to the app’s deletion process.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
13. International Users
RiseWise may be operated and hosted in countries different from where the user lives. By using the app, users understand that information may be processed where our service providers operate.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes affecting child information or parental consent, we may require renewed parental consent before the child can continue using the app.
